Lynx win First Soccer Game in Carroll History

The Men's Soccer team won their first game in their inaugural season.  

An enthusiastic crowd of faculty, staff, family, and friends lined the hills and bowl field to watch the Lynx win their first soccer game in school history on Tuesday 6 to 3 over the Hagerstown Hawks.  Andrew Nellies scored the first goal in school history at 16:55 with an assist by Matt Kurtz.  Nikoli Haldorsen then scored three goals in a row (a hat trick) with assists by Adam Bowersox, Joe Lippy, and Kaleb Lippy.  Andrew Nellies scored again in the second half with an assist from Anthony Goad.  Kaleb Lippy added a goal in the second half with the assist coming from his brother Joe Lippey. The Lynx will continue their season with an away game at Howard CC on Tuesday September 3.  Game time is 4 p.m.
